FAQs

  • All travel (air, car, ground) to and from the Western Agents Conference is at the attendees' expense.  Parking at the hotel for the conference dates is complimentary.

    To help you plan your travel arrangements, here is some helpful information:

    Registration will be open on October 9, 2024 starting at 11:00 AM.  The opening general session begins promptly at 1:00 PM. 

    Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is 2.5 miles/8 minutes from Grand Sierra Resort.

  • The hotel provides complimentary shuttle transportation to and from the airport every 30 minutes between 4:30 AM and 12:15 AM daily.

    Shuttles leave the hotel at the top (:00) and bottom (:30) of the hour from the porte-cochere by the front desk.

    Shuttles leave the airport at quarter after (:15) and quarter 'til (:45) the hour from exit door D next to baggage claim

  • Hotel check in is 3:00 PM Hotel check out is 11:00 AM

    The Conference Fee includes a two-night stay (October 9 & 10, 2024). 

    Once your registration is confirmed, your name will be added to the rooming list for these dates.

  • If you plan to share your room with another attendee, be sure to provide their name during registration. This will not serve as their registration. Whichever attendee you plan to share with must also register and provide your name within the registration site as well.

  • Any additional nights outside the conference dates are at the attendees own expense and payment will be handled with the hotel directly upon checkout. Please reach out to conventionhelp@farmersinsurance.com to request adjusted dates of stay.

  • If you are attending as a vendor for this conference you will be on your own to make hotel arrangements. A link to reserve your rooms is included within your registration.
